Week 3 - 2nd–6th June 2008
999 Plants at Margaret Bolster’s!
On Monday we started planting a wildlife corridor with an upper storey of tall Eucalypts, a middle storey of Acacias and smaller shrubs. Margaret welcomed us all and was really excited and pleased by our efforts. She provided us with biscuits every day!>
Because of the dryness we had to water everything in which was an interesting task. We fed water down the slope to a wheelie bin then gravity fed it to the area where it was required.

- Necessity of tree guards for rabbits
- Working in the fog in steep, slippery conditions
A good fun week and we feel a real sense of achievement.
